Use these suggestions to reflect on the needs of your congregation and to create connections for online participants.

The central question addressed in this section of Online Training for Sunday School Teachers is "What can I say or do that will help children actively engage in learning?"

  1. Ask teachers to share their analysis of the session in their Leader Guides. Did they arrive at similar conclusions? Why or why not?
  2. Ask teachers to e-mail or bring in their list of activities they identified in Online Reflection: Developing My Skills (Question 3). Compile the list of activities leading toward knowledge and distribute to all teachers.
  3. Look at the identified faith practices or skills. Do you see anything missing that you assumed were a part of your ministry? Investigate what that might mean.
  4. Encourage participants to respond to the evaluation of Online Training for Sunday School Teachers. Evaluation You may wish to ask them to return a copy to you or develop questions related to your Sunday school plans. Explore ideas for continuing to learn about kids and faith.
